Candidates chosen by the Metro PAC for endorsement and support include those individuals who support the Metro Chamber's mission of fostering regional economic prosperity.

In partnership with Spare The Air, the Metro Chamber encourages all businesses to educate employees how they can help reduce air pollution on "Spare The Air" days. I t is important that businesses do their part to help the Sacramento region meet federal clean air standards with respect to ozone emissions. If we do not meet federal standards, we run the risk of losing federal transportation funds and could face strict federal enforcement measures that include raising fees on businesses.
