What: The Sacramento Metro Chamber’s 38th Capitol-to-Capitol Trip to Washington, D.C. with nearly 350 business and community leaders depart from the Sacramento region for annual federal lobbying trip.
When: Delegates depart Sacramento International Airport Sat., April 5.
Where: Terminal B United Airlines Flight #290 departs SMF at 7:35 a.m. – Includes 80+ delegates
Who: Gate access* and media availability from 6:30—7:15 a.m. with:
Metro Chamber president & CEO Matt Mahood
Flood Protection Task Force Chair Roy Brewer of Brewer Lofgren
Trip Purpose: To meet with federal elected and government officials on nearly 200 individual appointments to lobby for important regional issues and needs, including flood protection and transportation funding for road and transit projects.
