FOR MORE THAN 23 YEARS, THE LEADERSHIP SACRAMENTO PROGRAM has graduated more than 800 business, government and community leaders now taking active roles in our community. Because of this shared experience and the value of continuing the relationships created as a result of participation in the Leadership Sacramento program, the Sacramento Metro Chamber offers three categories of benefits exclusively
tailored to Leadership Sacramento alums.
Metro Chamber Event Discounts
Individual event ticket discounts will be offered exclusively to Leadership Sacramento alums for many upcoming Metro Chamber events, and will continue to be a standard part of our events strategy as we move forward in offering continued benefits to past program graduates. Discount pricing will be listed for Leadership Sacramento alums for each qualifying event, and
each registering alum’s past graduation status will be reconfirmed before discounts are applied.

Alumni Events
Within the ongoing Leadership Sacramento Advisory Committee is a functioning Alumni Task Force (members of both groups are volunteers comprised of past program graduates), whose purpose is to create and produce exclusive events open only to program alums. These will be events designed to give program graduates the exclusive “BEHIND THE SCENES” exposure to many of the people, places and initiatives that make the Sacramento region such a wonderful
place to live, work and play, and which made the Leadership Sacramento program such a great experience for many.
The goal is to have at least two Leadership Sacramento Alumni events each year. You will receive communications announcing such events as they occur – and when you do please register promptly if you are interested in participating, as many of the events will have a maximum capacity.
Community Engagement and Participation Opportunities
The Sacramento Metro Chamber receives many communications from the community requesting that we provide them with recommendations for board or committee members, sponsorships, task force participation, community event volunteers and other such opportunities. Because these requests present great opportunities for Leadership Sacramento alums to become directly and actively engaged in the community, you will occasionally be sent these requests
so that you may follow up and demonstrate your continued commitment to those organizations in need of your experience and your talents – much like the Leadership Sacramento program benefited from your participation.
It is also our hope that this sort of alumni outreach will be a catalyst which puts you back in touch with the community and to directly support those causes and events closest to your heart.
Additionally, if you are part of an organization which has a need for qualified volunteers, we encourage you to send these requests to the Metro Chamber so that this outreach can occur to the benefit your organization and to the region at large.
2010 Drexel University Scholarships
The Metro Chamber and Drexel University Center for Graduate Studies have teamed up to offer $10,000 scholarships for Fall 2010 applicants who are members of the Leadership Sacramento alumni.
