Metro EDGE is a program of the Sacramento Metro Chamber Foundation, designed for the Capital Region’s emerging leaders—early to mid-career professionals who are building connections, sharing insights, and shaping the future of Sacramento.
Our members represent diverse industries, backgrounds, and communities, reflecting the full strength and potential of the Capital Region. Together, we connect over shared career journeys, explore ways to give back, and champion the vision of a better, brighter Sacramento.
Launched in 2009, Metro EDGE has grown into a dynamic network of more than 600 young professionals—affectionately known as EDGErs—who are committed to making Sacramento the place for young leaders to live, work, and thrive.
A Message from the Chairs
Dear Metro EDGE Members and Friends,
We can't thank you enough for riding the tides of 2025 with us! At the start of the year, our goal was clear: move Metro EDGE forward, build momentum, and become the premier convener of young professionals and leaders while creating meaningful opportunities for growth and connection.
This year reminded us that progress happens when creativity meets dedication and strong teamwork keeps everything moving. The result: a solid year and even more momentum heading into 2026.
Here are a few highlights we're proud of:
- Sold-out events throughout the year, including our first-ever Behind the Scenes of the Sports Industry and a record-breaking Executive Insight.
- Membership growth of 150%, welcoming new faces, business sectors, and fresh perspectives.
- A new leadership structure designed to help our Council members grow as leaders while building our strongest foundation yet for YPs in 2026 and beyond.
These are just a few of our favorite things... and there's so much more to be proud of!
To close out the year, we want to express our gratitude to our incredible volunteer Leadership Council, every one of our Metro EDGE members, and our community, who continue to support us through our growth.
Our promise to you as we look into 2026: to keep leading with opportunity and building a space where young professionals can collaborate, expand their networks, and grow into the next generation of leaders. Ready or not, 2026, here we come, stronger than ever!
